CROCHETING AND KARMA YOGA* with Ola May and Inmaculada Serrano

Join Ola and Inmaculada as you journey through the benefits of meditation while learning the basics of crocheting.  

Learn how to make a garment for yourself or a loved one.

The first 10 minutes will set the stage for creativity with a 10-minute meditation (led by Ola). Then spend one hour and fifteen minutes learning to crochet (led by Inmaculada). End the evening with 35 minutes of restorative poses, breathing exercises, and guided meditation in our cozy candlelit studio (lead by Ola).

About the teachers: Inmaculada “Inma” Serrano and Ola Ahmad May are MindBodySoul Yoga instructors and soul sisters who have a passion for contributing their skills to help others. Through their volunteer work with WaHi Cats, they are fully immersed in the rewards that giving brings. Inmaculada crochets and knits hats, scarves,kitty/dog/animal blankets, leg/arm warmers, and more, to help raise funds for WaHi Cats through her  Karma Yoga brand called “Hats4Cats.” And Ola Ahmad May volunteers full time for WaHi Cats.

All participants will be supplied with a gift bag which will include a starter kit (skein of yarn and a crochet hook), and other goodies in honor of the occasion.

Cost: $85 for both sessions (March 28 and April 11) or $45 for an individual session
