Therapeutic massage improves circulation, increases the lymphatic drainage of toxins from the body, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system. These benefits allow the body to do the miraculous work of self-healing it is designed to do, which can be compromised by the effects of stress on our vital systems.  In addition, both Swedish and Eastern techniques, as well as deep tissue and myofascial work can remove adhesions, increase range-of-motion, and relieve persistent pain in specific areas.  Emotional stresses and frustrations can take up residence in the body. Releasing them from our tissues can also free our mind and benefit us spiritually. The role of touch has been vital to healing practices since our earliest recorded history and cannot be underestimated.

Services include: Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Tui Na, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Polarity, Cranial Sacral, aroma therapy, hot stone.

Thai yoga bodywork, or Thai Yoga, is a therapeutic practice which enhances flexibility and circulation, relieves tension, anxiety and stress, and detoxifies the body.  It creates a sense of peace and calm while improving and balancing the health of the physical, mental, and emotional bodies.  It integrates passive stretching with massage and acupressure techniques, working along the “sen” (energy) lines of your body.  This therapy is performed on a mat on the floor with no oils or creams.  Loosely fitted clothing and socks required.
