Private Yoga

Private yoga sessions are for those that wish for a more personal experience than can be found in a group yoga class. You may be a beginner looking to learn yoga asana in order to become comfortable in a group class.  Or perhaps you are looking to deepen your practice in a group class with more specific private instruction.  Sessions are individualized to best suit you.

60 minutes - $110

Name: Stacey Linden Hometown: Teaneck, NJ Training: E-RYT 200 - OM Yoga 200-hour Teacher Training, Baron Baptiste Level 1, workshops in adjustments, alignment, prenatal yoga. Certified by Karma Kids and Bent On Learning. Classes taught at MBSY: Hatha, Vinyasa/Hatha (and its sister class, Hatha/Vinyasa). Favorite Pose: Supine Spinal Twist. I walk everywhere and it really helps to open up my back at the end of the day. I live for that pop in my sacrum. Teaching Philosophy: Bringing attention to breath and alignment with (I hope!) a dose of humor as well. Making sure that every student leaves class with a practice that feels good for him or her. Life Outside the Studio: Hanging out with my son, immersing myself in a good book, going to the theatre, taste-testing mint chip ice cream so the world is a safer place. Favorite Quotation: “A woman is like a tea bag – you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.” ~Eleanor Roosevelt
