This workshop can benefit both those who currently have an inconsistent or possibly unsatisfactory meditation practice, as well as anyone wanting to start a practice, but may be confused by too many different methods and techniques. Vipassana (a special way of seeing, often referred to as Insight Meditation) is a method of meditation that was taught by the Buddha and his followers. It is a non-sectarian, practical, and scientific method, which relies only on the observation of one's own reality and not on outside or imagined sources. There is no reliance on beads, mantras, images, or other rituals. Buddha taught that this particular method probed at a much deeper level - the source where much of the mental reactivity arises.
