Ayurveda is a 5,000-year old system of natural healing that has its origins in the Vedic culture of India. In this workshop you will get to know more about the three types of body constitutions: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, and discover what your specific constitution is.
We will also explore the daily regimes advised in Ayurveda, as well as the seasonal regimes, which will help you choose the right foods and activities in each season. In addition we will introduce some of the common herbs used in Ayurvedic medicines, and common kitchen herbs used as Ayurvedic home remedies. This workshop will be very informative and helpful in understanding your body type, and provide you with tools which we can apply in daily lives, seasonal routines, diet, behavior, and the proper use of our senses.
