Prana is translated as life force, or breath. Yama is known as restraint or control. Together they mean breath restraint, or specifically conscious breathing.
In this workshop we will learn, practice, and review an array of pranayama practices--from your standby ujayyi to the rarely practiced yet powerful and calming bramari, or "bee breath".
Pranayama is the perfect practice before meditation, which we will explore and enjoy as time allows.
